  The Tea selection isn't the best anymore since they were bought by a German company. The teas that remain are enough for me with less frequent visits.

  "Cesar" was my server and he was incredibly friendly, helpful and informative. Way above average experience!

  I have liked Peet's coffee for quite a while. I met Alfred Peet' in 1987 at Starbucks in Ashland, OR. He is the guy that initially showed Starbucks Jerry Baldwin how to roast the coffee bean. I met Jerry in downtown Seattle in 1973 at the 2nd Starbucks he and his partners opened.

  It's a good establishment, especially compared to other locations closer to and on market. It gets crowded sometimes, but it doesn't stay crowded. They have 9 small circle tables and 1 slightly bigger square table, but they are not all crammed together. Electrical outlets are on the wall parallel to 4th st. Staff are nice and provide good service. They keep the place clean. The music is not too loud. Comfortable setting.
