  Clean, comfortable, excellent service, and good music are delivered here. I go about 3 days a week for coffee and breakfast. There are also work tables and I often see business meetings and study groups utilize them. It is way more spacious and less crowded then the nearby Starbucks on 13th and U.

  Great atmosphere! Very good coffee, I got a Sumatra, their dark roast offering. They have great affordable sandwich choices as well. Customer service was excellent! Woman with dreadlocks was personable and knowledgeable. She enhanced the overall experience. I highly recommend and will soon return.

  I love this Peets! The baristas are kind and attentive, they greet you when you walk in and if you are a regular visitor they will address you by first name upon entering. The place is always packed which is a good sign! My favorite items on the menu are the vanilla latte and the iced vanilla latte. If they have the banana bread available it is a good treat.

  Second best coffee, places yo sit, friendly baristas. Saturday and Sunday a bit of a zoo. But 3 to 5 in the afternoon. Good for a quiet moment ,nice sunlight. Great bathrooms. Interesting cooked sandwiches.

  I am a coffee connoisseur and visited thousands coffee places around world and DC. I tried to forget bad experience for one week and it did not fade away. I have to post the truth that Peets Coffee Tea shop does not want you to know. They hired less qualified employees and fake "barista" for weekends and holidays working shifts. I visited this same place twice on Sundays and noticed bad same experience. This place is Strugglesville. I ordered Black Tie specialty handcrafted drink. Fake "barista" struggled to make specific drink that I ordered. She gave me Macchiatto instead of Black Tie. I repeated my request to fix it and she failed twice. She struggled and does not know how to make perfection and do a right recipe of the drink because of a lack of measurement, expertise, and quality. I gave up and left with Macchiato drink that I wasted $5. It is not cheap to drink there. Do not go to the coffee shop at weekends or late nights when less skilled employees and fake "barista" are working there. Welcome to Strugglesville at this Peets Coffee Tea coffee shop!
