::We absolutely love Peekadoodle. The program, staff and facilities are superb. We recently moved to the Bay Area and we are very happy to have found Peekadoodle. I am writing this review to help others in their decision-making process. Because at the end of the day, as parents what we want is the very best for our children. Let me start with the program. Peekadoodle have several options starting at when the child is 20 months. My husband and I picked a program called "mini prep". It is a 2 days a week, 2 hours program. This is amazing if you want to introduce your kid to a more formal play-oriented learning experience. At first, our daughter was shy, but after some weeks she warmed up and now she is just looking forward to it and hugs and blows kisses to her instructors. Our plan is to have our daughter to go through all stages Peekadoodle offers (mini prep & academy) until she is ready for the next step! Now, let me talk about the staff. Oh my god! They are extremely nice and great with kids. My closest experience is with Miss Mayra, Miss Katie and with Stef (program coordinator). Miss Mayra and Miss Katie, are just so sweet, kind and they engage all kids in the activities, and really care about every student. They take the time to give a brief update on how you child is doing. Our daughter hugs them, blows kisses and even pretends to call them on the phone at home! Our daughter also comes and tells us what she learns there. One great advantage is that Peekadoodle has a low children to instructor ratio, so they really take good care of your kid. Stef, as the program coordinator, keeps track of everything! She knows the name of every parent, student and really knows and cares about you. Her commitment really shows! I haven't interacted much with the rest of the staff. However, in my brief interactions with doorman, front desk, cleaning staff, and rest of the instructors, it is possible to say that they are very nice, always with a smile, and like a big happy family. You really don't see kids crying, everyone enjoys being there. I'm not exaggerating! In the few times I have had some feedback for them, Stef takes care of it, immediately no matter how small the issue was. Just as an example, the front door sign in Spanish had a misspelling, and I told her and she immediately took it down, and when I was walking my daughter out it had been corrected. Those smalls details show that they care. I think all of this is the result of the goal the owner Ellen had in mind when founding Peekadoodle; to make it a balanced space, like a community with all the right ingredients. We particularly like that not only as new parents, but also people new to the city and new the US educational system, Peekadoodle has our back and makes it like smooth sailing. We feel welcomed, our child is happy and thriving. I will keep updating my experience: so far happy kid, happy parents!

::The preschool options and classes are great here. My kids have been learning social interaction and academic skills. The staff is fully engaged and always willing to go the extra mile. I highly recommend them

::I brought my grandson here on a weekday. The place is very clean and colorful and bright. My grandson had a lot of fun playing in the indoor playspace for a few hours, including their play kitchen, dress up clothes, and he especially loved scooping up the mulch! They even have a cafe here with kid-friendly meals, which we ordered.

::Great play space for kids w/ lots of activities to keep them busy while you can get some work done online (they have good wif service). I took my nephew here for a few hours last month while visiting Ghirardelli square and he loved it. He had a blast playing in their outdoor area and operating a steam boat. They have some food/snacks available at their cafe as well so we had pizza for lunch and they even validated our parking, which was a nice touch. I'll definitely be returning at some point since my nephew's been asking when I can bring him back to Peakadoodle.

::I don't know anything about the preschool so this review is strictly for the recreation center. This club is so cute. The play area has a mini slide, pretend kitchen, train set, an infant section, and even a kid's cable car! I also ove that there is a café right next to the play area. That way, I can sit, have a coffee, and read a magazine while my son goes buck wild. The inside space isn't very big but it is safe. There is also a small outdoor space with another slide and great views of the bay. I know the club has classes, workshops, and meet-ups but I've never taken them. The big drawback is that it is pretty expensive. However, if you're a member of the Golden Gate Mother's Club, you can get the first two months free. Also, your first visit is free if you sign up for their newsletter.
