  I am very surprised to be the first to review Pedigo Design, but am honored and hope that this will be helpful. I am not a customer of Pedigo Design exactly, but kind of; I am a sub-contractor for Pedigo Design. I do countertops for her. Her, and a whole lot of other people. So I get the rare perspective of an inside-out look at her business model and many others who do what she does, of which there really are only a couple who can actually 'do what she does', and none of them have the depth of design knowledge that her and her staff have acquired. Most remodeling companies would need fully 3 other companies to offer everything she does, including design, structural planning, contracting/sub-contracting, and project management, which is very cool for. It's very cool for the customer AND for me because the fewer people that are involved, obviously efficiency is improved but more importantly, there is an effectiveness and clarity you can literally feel when you walk onto her project: Everyone knows what they are supposed to do, they are performing at their highest intensity, I can call someone with a question and they don't have to call 3 people to get the answer if I need one, they KNOW the answer because they wear ALL the hats, and accidents and mistakes that cost a homeowner money are diminished and rare. I can also attest personally as a sub-contractor, that they have a funny way, almost like a boot camp commander (which I can also attest to), of inspiring you to not mess up... because they will kill you... and of course I'm kidding... I think. There are a few people I know better than to accept my A- effort as finished for, and Lynn Pedigo is certainly one of them. In my very first minute of dialogue with her, years and years ago, I could tell I was talking to someone with vision, and more concerning, an uncompromising expectation of a fantastic product. Although it sounds intimidating, I would rather work with someone like her, and everyday, instead of someone who just wants to get out of your project as fast as possible and has no personal feeling or interest in your home. I'm sure you're wondering "How much did she pay you to say this?" Well, plenty for our countertops, but not for this. No one asked me. I promise I have more pressing things I should be doing. You should also know she only uses me on about 20% of her projects because, as I said, she advocates and finds the best match for her client, and sometimes my price keeps me from getting to do my thing, but occasionally I come to my senses. So all of this is written by someone who KNOWS most of her countertop business goes elsewhere... which doesn't change the truth. Long story short, in our industry, a seldom few of us care enough and are capable of being great, and large majority don't; they just see dollars. I hope this helps you understand that Pedigo Design IS one of the seldom few, and I just thought it was worth saying so, from someone on the ground who knows. Every Pedigo Design job I complete gives me a great sense of accomplishment and pride, and its because I got to work with someone exceptional with amazing ideas who inspired my best efforts, and we both won. That's why I wrote this, because it almost never happens this way, and it is special when someone can provide this kind of service, and worth sharing.
