::Inept - Something You DON'T Want in Healthcare 1. Doctor Sandra Mark measured my existing eyeglasses for starting points. When she tested my right eye, everything was uneventful. However, when she switched to my left eye, I could not see the projected rectangle with letters on the wall. All I could see was a white blur. It was so far off that I could not make out a single letter. Nevertheless, she persisted with the "is this better... or is this better" routine for a few minutes until I insisted that she stop, since I was getting a headache. She took my existing eyeglasses out of the room to have someone else measure them. When she came back, she reset the machine and the procedure proceeded uneventfully. 2. The young lady who helped with picking out frames had never heard of computer glasses (their focal point is about 22 inches away, in case you have not heard of them either). She looked very confused and it was quite clear that she and I were "talking past each other." I slowly explained that I was considering two pairs of glasses: a standard pair of bifocals and a pair for computer work. "Well, that would just be the distance prescription without the bifocal." When I told her she was wrong, she gave me an annoyed look, went in the back, and obviously had someone explain to her what computer glasses were. She came back and said it would just be half of the near and far bifocal prescriptions -- which I don't think is actually correct. I'm going to shell out for a new eye exam somewhere else.

::Not a great selection of frames. When my lenses were ready to be picked up, they told me to call ahead to make sure a technician was in that day before I came in to install them in my frames. They indicated that the technician was in that day. I drove long and far through rush hour only to find the technician was actually not there, wasting my time.

::Not bad but when I call for a copy of my invoice I get no call back and no email just ignores my requests looks like I'll be going back to my original eye doctor

::Amazing service, saved my eyes after I had certain issues with it. Accommodated me biweekly as he was monitoring my eyes. I ended up purchasing super chic frames from them and had them make the lenses, they had the thin option which I loved, because it was a difficult transition for me, to switch from contacts back to glasses. My eyes are great now and I thank Dr. Alex P for it all. He is friendly, very knowledgeable and runs a great practice! Thank you thank you thank you for it all. Highly recommended!
