  I really enjoyed my experience at this location, and I plan to return regularly! The women at the front desk were incredibly friendly and helpful, both in person and on the phone prior to my appointment. I arrived plenty early and was able to be seen ten or fifteen minutes earlier than my appointment. My dental hygienist, Miranda, was so awesome. She was so friendly and welcoming, and listened to all of my dental concerns and addressed them thoroughly. She also took the time to walk through all of the x-rays and photos of my teeth and point out anything that may need future attention. Dr. Curlin also took the time to hear my concerns again and address them, and I felt she was very quick and efficient in assessing my teeth and coming up with a plan moving forward. At the end of my appointment, Miranda walked me through what we should tackle first and information regarding my insurance (what would be covered, when certain services would be covered in the future, etc.) and the cost of everything, with and without insurance. I then made my next appointment, paid the women at the front, and was out the door by 11:45 or so. I do think it’s important to note that some appointments require deposits; my upcoming appointment is for a crown and they required half of the cost of the service as a deposit, but were very clear that if I canceled my appointment, that money would entirely be refunded to me. I want to add, I did not feel pressured into any service, just given recommendations and alternatives for issues I may not be ready financially to tackle right away. Overall, they were fast, friendly, and I felt very taken care of.

  This is my first visit to Pearl and the whole experience was amazing. I was greeted right when I walked in and the front desk lady was so friendly and helped me signed in very quickly. Shortly after Trista the hygienist came to welcome me. She was very patient and she explained everything she was going to be doing. The exam was very throughout. Dr. Amanda was very professional and explained the findings and answered all my questions. She also came up with the plan that best fit my needs. Her assistant Keilah was very knowledgeable and so helpful. It was all excellent. Thank you!!

  Pearl on South College St. is excellent. Every time I go, the staff is friendly and attentive. My dentist always explains everything in full and she never does unnecessary work or tells me I need something if I don’t. Great group and quality work.

  Pearl is by far the best dentist I’ve been to. They are very professional, kind, and great at explaining everything to patients. They are super upfront about pricing too and will let you know what is covered/not covered by insurance in real time! Would highly recommend if you are in the Charlotte area!

  Went to this location a few years ago and saw Dr. Jenny. After a minute of looking in my mouth, I was told I had 6 cavities that needed to be filled. I had never had cavities prior to my visit at Pearl, so this was shocking. Obviously, I sought a second opinion and was told that I had no cavities and that the dentist would not put a drill to my teeth. If you seek quality and thoughtful care, do not go to Pearl. Always get a second opinion. A friend recently had a similar experience, so I believe this is a continuing problem.
