::Good cafe, just like any other PAUL. Food came quickly and the iced coffee is delicious

::French bakery, nice. Typically busy around lunch time. If I were in Paris, I would go to a different bakery, but for Washington DC, I was or being outside of France, it's very nice.

::Bon appetit. Not. The food was great. The service was horrible. We ordered two sandwiches. The first one came out ten minutes after we ordered. They forgot about the second one. It took 35 minutes in total to get the second sandwich. Also we realized they charged us 2.85 for an 8 oz Coke but knew it wasn't worth trying to explain that to them after the fact.

::One of my favorite places on a Sunday morning. Their pastries are very high-quality and their ham, egg and cheese croissants are worth the extra exercise it takes to work them off afterwards!! Highly recommended!

::Their quality of food and drinks varies based on who is dealing with your order. I usually order the salmon quiche at lunch time, and most of the time it is delicious. Twice it was too oily at the bottom. The hot chocolate, however, can vary from rich liquid chocolate to watery drink with small hint of chocolate, depending on who made it. The staff seriously need more training on quality control and logistics. Despite having 10 people in the kitchen and at the counter, they are always very slow, confusing orders, charging wrongly, and treat all this as "normal". All they need is a good manager to establish the flow and standard of service--but I guess that's too much to ask for in a place that charges $5+tax for a cup of 12oz hot chocolate right? Cannot believe even Starbucks has more sensible service.
