  This park is meant for either, drivers or locals. The entrance to the park was underwhelming. To enter, you walk/drive through a narrow road right beside the lirr tracks. It could be an easy miss if you're a newcomer like me (unless you navigate through gmaps). Once you're at the parking lot, your introduced to a few private houses, and three or four trails beside the roadbed. An odd layout but, it's not a huge issue to worry for. My main issue to this park is figuring where the visitor center is. I would've expected it to be in the vicinity of the parking lot but, all I see are private homes. Nevertheless, the trails were alright but, I kinda wish they were better maintained.

  Visit this place often. Great for exploring.
