::Had dinner there for my wife's birthday. Food was great ($$) and the service was equally great. Atmosphere was very nice. For an older building, it was very comfortable and relaxing. Slight drawbacks: since it's a "downtown" restaurant, very little street parking. If you can find it, I was told that you don't have to feed the parking meters after 6pm. 👏👏👍👍👍 We ended up parking in a small "pay-to-park" lot due to our full size van, but only a block away. Other minor disappointment: alot of restaurants will give you a free dessert or the staff will sing "happy birthday" to the birthday person. When I called earlier in the day to confirm our reservation, I mentioned it was my wife's birthday, and asked if they did anything like that. He said, "Yes sir, we can bring out a piece of cake for her." Okay, that sounds good. We had brought small birthday cupcakes for our guests anyway, and one for my wife. When it came time to pay for the check, I asked the waiter if they were going to bring out her cake (or dessert), and he said, " Oh, no sir, I'm sorry, but we don't do that." He continued, " that's why I asked if if anyone wanted dessert so we could put a candle on hers (my wife's)". Hmmmm... okay, no problem. Maybe next time, I think all the staff should be on the same page. Even one of our guests had mentioned that they have done this for them. This was a minor issue...no worries. Will we come and eat here again: absolutely! Looking forward to trying some of their other entree's.

::Elk Tenderloin is phenomenal. Nice atmosphere, I'm surprised it doesn't get as crowded as a downtown restaurant should. 4 stars because service was mediocre.

::Had a delicious first meal here and I'm sure we'll be back. We had some delicious mixed drinks and it seems like they're aiming for twist on familiar drinks. Be sure to ask about beer on tap as the menu didn't show what I saw behind the bar. Our entrees and desserts were very tasty and felt good without being too oily or greasy. Again I'm sure we'll be back to try more that's on the menu. Also service was prompt and friend and quick to explain and give good recommendations.

::Delicious food, good service , reasonable prices. While they didn’t serve bread, which I love, the menu is eclectic and food was delicious. The elk tenderloin is unique, tender and a great value! Some reviewers said the servings were small, yet they seemed perfect to me- not the “supersize me” filler most places offer.

::Was really looking forward to coming here. Arrived, was seated and server did not greet me for over 5 minutes. Was willing to overlook it because I was caught up in the nice atmosphere and the live jazz band was a nice distraction. Server was not friendly. We ordered and the food took 45 minutes. We would have asked the server what the delay was, but he rarely made an appearance. The menu was a bit pricey and that would have been fine if the food lived up to the price. Portions small for the price and were average tasting. French fries were under cooked and prime rib sandwich was dry. If you're going to meet friends for drinks It would probably be a nice evening. Unless you received the same server we did and in that case you will not have your drinks refilled. I gave it 2 stars for the atmosphere and band. Will probably not return.
