  When I pick people up from Newark Penn Station, I usually meet them here to avoid the traffic at the station exits.

  Site of the histirical marker erected by the Portuguese American community in honor of Peter Francisco, a Revolutionary War hero. A favorite hangout for drug addicts from Newark Penn Station across the street. On Fridays, area churches provide food and outreach to the homeless population. Anyone can get a free meal.
