  Cute place. There's a playground and several basketball courts for the kids. Decent size parking lot. The paths are boardwalk and dirt/grass. Very scenic and natural.

  A splendid and accessible park, with pretty walking trails. This includes a boardwalked and wheal chair accessible trail. There is access to a network of larger Suffolk County hiking trails via a colorfully painted pedestrian underpass beneath the LIRR tracks, just beyond the lake. They are very extensive trails and I don't believe they are part of the park proper.

  my favorite place by far but I miss the water. it seems to have dried out and the beautiful lake is no more. unfortunately preserving this habitat is not a main priority for this BEAUTIFUL place and it's sad we are losing this natural preservation.

  Nice place for a walk. There is a boardwalk to a lake.. too bad there are a lot of dead trees from Asian beetle. Part of the Greenbelt trail from Heckscher to Smiths Point
