::The park itself is very large - there's a few playgrounds for kids, exercise stations, lake access (for pedestrians and boats) as well as a pretty nice baseball complex with concessions.

::GREAT park with plenty of BBQ pits and shade. Boats and jet skis allowed. The marina is close by and so are the baseball fields. Best of all no fees of any kind to get in!

::Cool place to hang out and enjoy recreation and the weather. Just make sure to bring insect repellent. We went for the first time to see the memorial weekend fireworks over Grapevine Lake. It was quiet and not crowded at all. The people were friendly and respectful of each other's space for picnicking. We just went with a simple pizza and drink, but with all the picnic pavilions we will definitely be coming back with more food and more people!

::This was a beautiful park on the shore of Lake Grapevine, beautiful view of the lake and of the dam. There are many athletic fields for both soccer and baseball and there is plenty of parking - although none of the fields were in use at the time so perhaps a different situation then. Covered picnic tables looked like it could be a great place for a family outing although I'd hope it would be possible to reserve through the city to ensure a planned family day would be possible. The marina is also accessed through this park and we were amazed at the size of some of the boats - cabin cruisers - so I imagine the lake must be deep enough not to scrape bottom. This was like a hidden jewel, we've lived in Grapevine for years but haven't been back to this park in over 15 years and the kids quit playing soccer and baseball.

::Excellent spot in DFW area to fly kites. Amazing park, seems to have just about everything you wanted to do outside. Excellent bike and hiking trails. Wonderful place to go ⛵, docks and boat drop offs are plentiful. Tons of spots for a wonderful picnic.
