::A complete nightmare. Staten Island had so much potential. I have lived here for fifty years, and I have seen most of the beaches eroded into the sea. Furthermore I have seen the ends of streets going to the beach gated off like they are private property by homeowners who cannot be stopped. Federal law says the shore of an island must have complete and unfettered access for public use. As of now there are miles of fenced in beach, unavailable for use, and it does not look like it will change within my lifetime.

::A Beautiful natural area with views.

::If you're into looking at copious amounts of trash, this is your beach. Sad. Feel so sorry for the wildlife who have to wade in a sea of plastic bottles. There should be garbage cans there and parks and recreation should clean it periodically.
