  About a mile of shore line to fish from or enjoy the water. Boat ramp (free?). Trash cans. That's about it. No playground.

  The city does not take care of this historic area. This was once a great resort with a dance hall and amusements. There are still signs left if you look carefully. Concrete steps and blocks with old wiring. The dirt roads still circle some of the old building outlines. Now its just a dirty unkempt piece of the lake. Homeless and vagrants camp and tiny bits of trash lay uncollected. City outlawed swimming here about 3 years ago. Before that it was full of families all summer. Now mostly used for boat ramp and fishing. There is a little floating dock where kids can catch fish. Don't eat them though, polluted. I remember visiting this rural park 50 years ago, now overused. The middle park area has a baseball area, tables, and playground set. Stickers abound.

  This is one of our favorite parks to take our dog to, it's wide open and usually a quiet spot.

  Its ok. A grass field next to the lake with a boat launch and play ground near the Marshalls station. Full of history though
