  Really pretty and peaceful park enclosed by woods so makes it the perfect spot to relax in peace.

  Great local park for Prospect Park and Haledon residents to walk and bring the young ones to play in the play yard. It has a small basketball court, soccer field, and other areas to explore. Even has public bathroom.

  One of my favorite easy spots to watch the sunset because the sky feels so open when you look over the quarry. The other side of the park also offers great views of the city and all your favorite Hawthorne landmarks. I went up with my girlfriend on 9/11 and could see the pillars of light where the twin towers were. It was great to be able to see such a powerful image in remembrance and honor of those we lost that day.
