  Perfect for swimming, the water nested within a bay with no waves, and a life guard is on duty during summer months. Plenty of parking and great for families.

  Amazing place to go fishing or just hang on the beach. These is even a boat ramp.

  A very pleasant beach to visit. In the fall, winter and during the spring it's free to enter. Fishing here is pretty good. I've caught porgies here in the past. There's a playground, and a point to walk out to where there's enough sand to play Frisbee. However, due to the nature of the harbor, it is usually very windy here.

  Not much to do besides sit on the beach, go for a nice long walk or a swim, but there's a new playground for the kids and plenty of boats dock near the beach on the weekend, so there's music and a good low key vibe. We usually hang out at Hobart for a few hrs and then head to Crabmeadow Beach (abt 10 mins away) for lunch/dinner. They have a restaurant, pizza place, and ice cream to cool you off on hot summer days...but the beach is nicer at Hobart, so we visit both beaches in a day.

  I love this beach so much. It's out of the way, quiet, and relaxing. The sunsets are amazing since you're facing west. There's a small playground for kids, restrooms, but no picnic area. I usually come after 6pm when they don't charge a parking fee.
