  This is a beautiful park. However, you have to be a member of the community to park and visit from Memorial day to Labor day which is the season. Off season parking is free.

  Today is a great day to come to Harbor Island. A little chilly but sunny. Kids are enjoying making sand castles. Getting a little wet in their shorts but what the heck! Fun for all!

  Great Park but beware of the Gestapo Park Ranger. The park ranger will stop you from fishing when the fish are running ( before the posted park opening hour). If it's a windy day and the park is empty and you decide that it's the perfect time to fly a kite with your kids.... Well think again.... The Gestapo Park Ranger will either fine you or order you to stop. That's no fun.
