::Rode with a couple of friends for my first time at the park. Can zoom around and enjoy the beautiful scenery on well maintained trails. Will be back again to do a little climbing and taking in beautiful sites and sounds of nature.

::Beautiful woodland park with ponds and many marked trails. Mt. Biking, hiking, dog walking. Gun and bow range available for shooters. Playground and picnic areas with grills.

::My buddy and I used the pistol range on our last visit. The price is reasonable and there were plenty of lanes. Saturdays and Sundays are the busiest days with a pretty constant flow of shooters all day. Walt, the range officer, was great. He is friendly and willing to offer advice if you want it. The same thing goes for most of the shooters. Spent a good bit of time swapping stories and trying out different people's handguns. Basic paper targets are supplied by the range. They use NRA 100 yard SR-1 paper targets on all the ranges. You can bring your own paper targets. I would suggest bringing some Shoot-N-See targets, so you can stick multiply targets on the SR-1. From 15 yards out it can be pretty difficult to see your groupings. They have a Porta-John for a restroom. The range lines are covered and have netting between the lines. Seek shouting inn the rain isn't a worry, and you don't have to worry about getting hit by rogue brass. They also have a bench behind the line to sit on, store your range bag, or have your "spectators" sit and wait. There is also a good sized table at the line to lay all your gear out on. The only reason I didn't give it five stars was because they do not allow anyone under 12 on any of the ranges, including small caliber rifles. I would love to take my kids to shoot their 10/22s, but they aren't old enough. I had a great time there today. My buddy and I spent about two hours there today. It was my first time on their pistol range, but I will definitely be going back.
