  I went here to pick up some nails, screws, and a screwdriver to hang a picture, but when I got there and started asking around, the staff clarified to me that this store was intended mainly for contractors, not general consumers like me. I had assumed it was a regular hardware store, but apparently everything is more heavy duty and geared towards contractors.

  Useless. True Value should change the description on its website to let customers know when they have seasonal products like soil, fertilizer, plants, etc. On the home page of the website it says "we have everything for your lawn and garden" but after making the journey to get there they had nothing of the sort. Not a blade of grass or sack of soil in sight. Wasted journey.

  This place is great. I just moved to the neighborhood and needed a number of things for my new place. I had no idea that such a huge, well stocked home improvement center was just around the corner. This is no hardware store like I was used to in Hell's Kitchen. They have just about everything and they're helpful and the prices are good too. I'll definitely go back over and over.
