  Great view of landing planes at JFK. You can spot heavier planes such as the B747 and A380. A super high zoom lens is not needed, but I would recommend at least 100mm even though a 55mm would do. However, the neighborhood is shady and I would not recommended taking public transit here, especially after sunset. Try to come by car with some friends.
