::I had been a customer of this location for at least 3 years (not a frequent customer) and a prior location at 7th & Pennsylvania for at least 1 year prior to that location's closure. While not a frequent customer I had been to the 7th & Pennsylvania location enough to be given two of their yellow nylon customer drop off bags. A shirt that was dropped was ruined. I understand that in life things happen. But the process to work to resolve an issue is absurd. The process is based on 1. The schedule of the manager which (as of the time of this posting) is 7a-1p Mon, Tues, Thur, Friday (and maybe Sat but did not discuss this issue on a Sat). That time frame to resolve an issue does not work for those customers that work. 2. If the issue is then escalated to the owner....the owner visits that store one day a week. Again not really the best schedule if the owner makes the final decision. With my specific situation a shirt that had multiple layers of silk screen designs went from very crisp and vibrant colored silk screen designs to completely faded out for an entire section (not in patches and not gradual either) bright red was flat pink. That location had cleaned that shirt at least 2 times if not more and no issues, no signs of gradual fading, no hint of time/wear taking it's toll. The whole process to finally speak to the owner about the issue was one week. That is ridiculous. After discussions between myself and the manager and myself and the owner they offered provide a credit towards future services. If a customer believes that a garment was ruined by the establishment and it takes a week to reach a point of the offer why does that seem like the logical and fair solution? The measure of a company is not only how they perform their services every day, but also includes how they meet the customer needs as well as how they try to rectify issues that happen. On the last two points Paradise Cleaners is well below acceptable. If you do business with Paradise their services general are good and the staff was friendly...until there is an issue and you better get ready to jump though hoops, a lot of hoops.

::I go here because the people are really great, and the few problems that I have had have always been quickly and pleasantly resolved (being in sales really makes me appreciate super customer service). Watch out though... their prices are way, way up there, even with coupons from the entertainment book!
