  A very homy, family style Italian restaurant. Nice portions, good food and great service. The garlic knots were a really nice appetizer, and the pasta puttanesca was good. Please take this review with a grain of salt, since I was sick at the time and my taste buds weren't working as well as they usually are.

  You can smell the authenticity of this place when you walk in the door. Tomato sauce and garlic! I've been visiting sister restaurant Tarantino's in Pasadena for 30+ years and this restaurant carrys on the tradition. The pizza is our favorite. The crust and tomato sauce are delicious. Vegetarian? The Papalucci and Florentine Specials are wonderful, you can do them half-half too. The salads are delicious too. Our favorites are tomato, garbanzo and cabbage.

  I've visited this place many times in the past. Excited to revisit, but I think my taste buds must've changed. The lasagna I ordered wasn't anything to write home about, but my friend ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo and it was pretty good. The service was fantastic and the glass of wine I ordered was not worth its price. So sad. My memories of this place are now tarnished. Probably won't visit here again.
