  By far my favorite Mexican food restaurant in Ahwatukee! Very reasonably priced-- my favorite thing to get is a tie between the bean, rice & cheese burrito for $4.10 and the 3 rolled taco combo for $5 and some change. The same burrito usually costs me $6-7 at Filibertos, and it doesn't have half the flavor or same level of freshness as Papa Chevo's! I love that Chevo's puts little pieces of peppers and corn kernels in their rice & they always serve their flour tortillas slightly browned for burritos and quesadillas. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because I feel their service could be better. It's not that they're rude, but they usually are not friendly at all and one of the cashiers is kind of a dingdong. I guess that's pretty typical of mom & pop Mexican food restaurants though. Overall, I highly recommend :)

  Duuuuuuude! This place keeps getting better and better! Tonight we randomly chose Papa Chevos and they never fail. We got 2 dozen rolled tacos, carne asada burritos and a torta and damn they’re awesome! The tacos have a very generous amount of guacamole and melted cheese, and the salsa, yeow!!! They are a chain too and they originated in Monterrey, California where tacos are the best north of the border!

  Great food quantity and quality. The burrito available here is crazy big. Couldn't finish it in one sitting.

  Unfortunately, I have to give this place a bad rating beause the portions were very small. 1 taco cost $3.25 and the portion was very poor. We bought 2 tacos and a 3pack of taquitos which had so little cheese and guacamole that I wanted to complain, but I chose to just never go back. This review request popped up on my phone, so I am giving my review. I did not go out of my way, but thought you and Papa Chevo's Taco Shop should know.
