  This location is always reliable for a bite to eat. Staff is friendly, food is great, and comes out fast.

  I often stop at Panera Bread, but this particular location is less than stellar. On one occasion, the souffle, which is what I usually order, was undercooked and filled with nearly-raw egg. On another occasion, I ordered a ham and cheese sandwich, only to find that it had no ham. If you stop at this location, check your order before you leave. Or do as I now do and stick to the coffee and pastries.

  Panera Bread in Ramsey NJ has that feeling of a local place to hangout, enjoy good food and meet your neighbors. The layout offers table space for larger groups. Meeting room is spacious and the atmosphere is casual and friendly. I can go alone or with friends and feel right at home.

  Typically, I really like Panera Bread. The food is of good quality and taste; the offerings are varied and seasonal. Unfortunately, this particular branch does not have adequate service to accommodate its patrons. During busier hours, the line and wait clearly overwhelms the staff, leaving customers frustrated and impatient. This contributes to errors in the orders, as well, leading to more frustrations. This also is not the cleanest of branches. The floors and tables can't be bussed and turned around fast enough, leaving the restaurant feeling messy. On several occasions, cutlery received has not been thoroughly cleaned, with lipstick strains and food left on the "clean" pieces delivered to waiting customers. Again, the food - when served promptly and with the correct order - is great. The service and atmosphere leave much to be improved upon.
