::I placed a delivery order for a build your bowl from the Panda Express on Fresno Street in Fresno, CA. I ordered the fried rice with honey nut shrimp. When my order arrived, the shrimp was missing. So, I paid $7.53 for a half bowl of rice. Called the location. After hearing of the problem, the "manager" stated that I must have made a mistake in the ordering process. He refused to have the shrimp part delivered to complete my meal which I had already paid for. Can't do that, I must go through corporate....Which happens to be closed at this time. Refused to even tell me what the price is for a half bowl of rice. Would it be $7.53? Refused to answer the question. We went in circles with him saying they fill the order as it arrives on their computer, and me saying...if you see a build a bowl and an entree isn't included and the cost to the customer is $7.53, why wouldn't that raise a flag? He even suggested I come to their location and see the order on his computer. Here's the problem, if I was able to go to the location, why would I place a delivery order? As a side note: I received a text when the driver was on his way. So, why wouldn't they text me stating the order for a build your bowl was incomplete? And ask what entree I would like. I became so frustrated with this conversation with no response to the customer's complaint and not even trying to resolve it. I finally swore at him and hung up. So, now my dinner is a half bowl of rice and a huge serving of anger and frustration. Just to see what the procedure would normally be in this situation, I called another Panda Express to ask what the pricing of a bowl of rice would be. It's a little over $4.00. I asked what should happen when a delivery order comes in for a build your bowl and the order didn't have an entree noted. He stated the order would raise a red flag that something is incorrect, he would have texted me for the entree. So..... that's what any employee should have recognized as a problem and resolve it to the customer's satisfaction. The fact that the manager wouldn't even deliver the rest of the order I paid for is a loss to me. So I'm charged $3.00 more for the half meal plus tax, plus the delivery fee of $5.00 And a $2.00 tip for the driver. Perhaps the employee filling delivery orders should have a re-training session. This is something that should have never happened. What ever happened to customer satisfaction??? I will be disputing the charge on my account and contact Panda Express Corporate. True....going to those extremes may not be right for some people but it is appropriate, for me, only because the manager refused to fix the problem and tried to blame it on me. My suggestion is not to order food to be delivered, except pizza. It is a relatively new concept for restaurants and there will be problems. Signed....angry and hungry customer
