::My husband was transferred to PAMS North after being at Doctor's Regional hospital for 2 1/2 weeks. He was transferred late in the evening to a very cold room which only had room heaters. There was no window and the machines were so loud he could not sleep. After two nights of this I called the nurses station and spoke to the charge nurse, Amber Rose. The first thing that came out of Amber Rose's mouth was that my husband was not nice to one of her sweet little nurses. I told her that my husband is freezing cold and hasn't been able to sleep because of the noise in his room for two nights and that will make him grumpy! Another time I had to call the nurse's station to ask them to please go to his room and put the call button where he can reach it. This place is inept. While I can't say their subpar care caused my husband's death, I can certainly say they made his last days on earth miserable. Note to Amber Rose: Please can out of nursing. You need some empathy and compassion to be a nurse and you lack both!
