  Per visitare libertà island e’ necessario affidarsi ad una compagnia ( si trovano su web) che offre servizio con traghetto. Solitamente il pacchetto e’ di 2 visite liberty ed ellis island. Su liberty troviamo la statua della libertà ma non solo, negozi ristorazione e tanto altro. Ottimo il percorso audio guidato indiverse lingue compreso nel prezzo del traghetto, costo totale 20 euro.

  I want to thank everyone who helped me during my visit on Sat April 28, 2018 and made it such a wonderful experience. I am 81, my mobility is restricted, I use a cane and eventhough I was with my daughter and twin grandsons , whether on the ferry, at security checkpoints or waiting in line to access the elevators, I was provided with help-I was even allowed to use the lift at the pedestal. I acknowledge with great appreciation the courtesy showed to me. thank you very much.

  Die positive Überraschung hat bereits im Taxi begonnen. Kürzester Weg, netter Fahrer und kurze Geschichte über Liberty Island inklusive. Erstmal sind wir vor der wirklich riesenlange Warteschlange zur Fähre erschrocken. Ging aber superschnell, weil die dort sehr professionell aufgestellt sind. Auf Liberty Island: die Freiheitsstatue ist toll, auch wenn ich sie mir irgendwie größer vorgestellt habe. Wir haben dort gegessen. Massenabfertigung und für das Personal Stress pur. Aber alle bestens gelaunt, die hatten echt Spaß bei der Arbeit.
