  A High Victorian Gothic style edifice finally completed in 1885 by the renowned Architect Ebenezer L. Roberts (1825-1890) well known for his architectural feat The Standard Oil building downtown Manhattan on 26 Broadway. The construction of the Ossining United Methodist Church had began in 1877. Its completion was delayed for eight years due to lack of funds shortly after, the death of its major financier Henry J. Baker. The primary construction material deployed was white "Snowflake" marble and it has a massive corner tower, cross gables, and forty magnificent stained glass memorial windows designed by Tiffany Studios, J&R Lamb, and James Dougherty of New York. Presently it hosts two distinct local community congregations.
