  This is legit Mexican food. Worth the accommodation in your daily schedule to eat here. Closest thing you can get you having a friends parent cook you legit Mexican food. This is sooo good!

  The best Mexican food in Anchorage for half the price of a sit down restaurant. Things to keep in mind: Oscar's caters to the working class folks in the area who are looking for a quick breakfast or lunch. They aren't open for dinner. They don't have seating, it's take out only. They only accept cash. At the prices they're charging, I don't blame them one bit for not wanting to donate 2-5% of every sale to a bank for the "privilege" of processing credit cards. They have a good selection of bottled and canned soft drinks. I've been eating here for over 10 years and will keep coming back. It's easily the best food value in Anchorage.

  Been eating lunch here 6-8 times a year for ore than 20 years. Oscar's is an Anchorage institution. Good food low prices. What more do you want. Bring cash but you won't need much.

  A cash only establishment and he touches the money with his bare hands and then proceeds to grab my tortilla and cheese with those same dirty hands. Nasty!!!! But I ate he burrito anyways and it was good. I just hope I don’t die!!!
