  Absolutely wonderful experience. Everyone from the technicians to the escrow company were friendly, efficient and helpful every step of the way. Having the ability to get a fair price for our house and close within a month removed the stress of having to sell our home. I can't express enough how satisfied we were by this experience.

  On a whim, I went to Open Door and requested an offer for our home as we were interested in upgrading. When I received the offer, it was more than I had expected and quite a bit more than other sites. This definitely made our decision easier. We began looking and soon found a home we wanted to buy. From there, it was a smooth and easy process to sell our home. Showing: The fact that we didn't have to show our home and have strangers interrupt our lives (we have a 2 year old) was a great benefit. Our inspection was fair and not unreasonable as some people suggest- we ended up with no repair costs after the credit Open Door gave us. The inspectors showed up, there were 4 of them (roofing, HVAC, photographer, and General Inspector) and most were gone within an hour- the last one stayed and did the general inspection which took about 3 hours- not unreasonable by any means. Appraisal: No appraisal- this is a cash purchase so what the offer is what you will get. This is another process you get to skip with OpenDoor. Title/Signing/and Closing: From there we signed the paperwork (Easy) and even changed our close date to reflect what worked best for us- and trust me- this is a HUGE benefit that closing can literally be changed with a day notice. We changed our COE at least 3 times and each time it was no problem. Everything was prompt, reliable, and just as they said it would be. We closed yesterday and received our check the same day- now we are renting our home back for two weeks while we close on the new house. This way we are able to stay in our home and only have to move once- again, what a great benefit! Sales Proceeds: We definitely got more money in our pocket using Opendoor as the fees were less than using realtors. There are some out of pocket expenses (HOA transfer packets, etc) but not much. I would recommend you do the math and see what you make using Opendoor as opposed to using the traditional sales process. You will be surprised to note that even at a higher sales price, you may not see much more in your pocket as most goes to the commissions and fess via the traditional way.

  Right from the beginning I felt like Opendoor was something special. Everything, I mean everything that Opendoor said they would do for me they did ten fold and with a smile. People if you are reading this review you are probably considering Opendoor to buy your home. Take it from a fellow that nevr writes reviews that Opendoor is the new Sheriff in town.
