  Getting a loan was quick & easy, making an online payment before your due date is not suggested because they will still go into your account on your due date and deduct the same amount and then tell you they thought you wanted to make an extra payment ...UGH and you can not get your money back so you will likely make two payments in one month if you do pay before your due date, the manager Jamie talks to you like you do not know how to pay your bills if you call and inquirer about the double deduction so I recommend not signing up for direct pay if you do decide to borrow from them I also recommend not speaking with Jamie because she is not all that people friendly at times she seems very snotty & rude!!!!

  I was referred through Credit Karma to One Main for a personal loan I was pre approved for the loan on One Main web site. I had submitted all my personal information for the loan. I was also told someone will contact me to verify my information. Today this morning a employee called to do a new credit application even through I was pre approved. After the process I asked how long will it take to get a word back. He “employee”replied a hour. And I asked why was all this information needed sense your company has already approved me. “why the questions like it a new credit application” The employee replied in a Hesitating manner, that we just ask questions to support the loan. Not a decision factor sense you were already pre approved. I was like ok. 3 hours later I call One Main back to checkout why no call back in a hour like the Rep said he would also I was concerned about the loan. Same guy answered the phone and after saying my name incorrectly twice. I was informed that my loan was denied because I’m self employed?! Even though my credit score qualifies me for the loan and my personal information provided. Very disappointing. I feel One Main miss leading people with their intention. If not. They should have stated in front that One Main doesn’t grant loans to self employment customers. And or you need a W2 from a previous year. Thats not true for a self employmed person. Banks, lending Institutes require less as long as your information checks out. Bank statement and references. And other lenders give loans every day. I feel lied too by One Main they had no intention to loan me money they just wanted my information to sell for profit.
