  I only walked through the public areas of the Omni Hotel and ate at two of the restaurants while attending a convention at The K Bailey Hutchison Convention Center. The Owner’s Box is too crowded for the few wait staff. The food was good, but waiting 15-20 min before a waitress came to take the order, I’m glad I had a flexible schedule. Cafe Herrera, on the other hand is a Mexican restaurant and the wait staff is quite attentive. I thoroughly enjoyed the salsa and chips brought to the table shortly after I was seated, and the fajitas I had for dinner were delicious. They also had a decent wine selection to suit every palate.

  Hotel was great. If you are visiting Dallas for a convention, being that the hotel is attached , makes it easy to go from one to the other. Plenty of eating places in hotel. Only down side was the lack of a lot of TV channels that I would have watched if I was at home. All contact with hotel staff was great and they were very friendly. If I would need to go to another convention there in Dallas, I would stay in the Omni.Dallas Hotel.

  This hotel is phenomenal. Great location downtown, beautiful views, huge windows (one wall was nothing but windows with a downtown view) nice decor and comfortable beds. The bathrooms were super nice, TVs in the mirror were a nice touch. Employees were friendly, and there is so much to do INSIDE the hotel it makes you not even want to venture downtown. It would have been nice to have breakfast included with no extra fee but it's not the end of the world. Beautiful place and excellent stay overall.

  We ate at Bob's Chop House. Our waiter Robert was wonderful, very attentive, made an excellent wine recommendation, and had a super cool mustache. The food was very good (we especially loved dessert). The only annoying thing is that the restaurant doesn't have a restroom, and the closest one is near the reception of the hotel itself. There were several groups having events at the time of our meal, and it broke the ambience having to fight through the excitement to use the restroom.

  If anyone is looking for great deals on hotels go to HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around... I am so impressed with this hotel. It is a beautiful structure with a modern design and immaculate rooms but that isn't even the best part. From the moment we arrived from the valet parking attendant to the check in and maid service every employee has been so friendly. They treat you like you are a friend coming to visit. I came with my daughter and her 2 month old son for a conference. Usually when you have a baby in tow in such a nice hotel you can get a cold reception. So opposite to that here. They were super friendly and accommodating. It was if we were VIPs. I noticed that even employees passing by were friendly. I don't think I have ever received more attentive friendly service. For such a big hotel it had a really nice individual community feel. The beds were super comfortable and the TV in the mirror of the bathroom was a nice addition. The bathroom was very spacious as well. I would definitely stay again and have no problem with recommending it to family and friends.
