  I called to obtain a copy of my mothers xrays. I was told that they are unable to duplicate them and that I should just take them myself since I am in dental hygiene school. Per the Dentistry Act of 1991, the patient is legally entitled to copies of their records, whether I have the ability to take additional xrays or not. Joni was extremely rude and exasperated by my request. Every time I tried to speak, I was abruptly cut off and talked over. I have never been spoken to by someone who works in customer service like that. And yes, the dental industry IS customer service oriented as there is a dentist on every corner. I hope the doctor reevaluates who is working the front office because it is not acceptable to treat patients in this manner.
