  Great piece of history. Playground is accessible and some shade to sit down. Schoolhouse has a historian who will answer all your questions.

  My kids loved to visit the school. It's fun to know the past of the country.

  Great reproduction of an 1849 school house. On the day of our visit our guide gave about a 40 minute lecture on the history of schooling during the time (this was quite boring). I would have rather been able to tour the school house on my own and have read about its history in a brochure or pamphlet. I went with a large group so maybe having 40 people all over this 800 sq. foot room would not be good.

  Great place to take your kids. My wife worked as a patron here for many years.
