  Nice area to fish on the western section of the Long Island Sound. You can fish for a variety of local fish: fluke, porgy, bluefish, and stripe bass can all be caught in and around this area. Near the expansive opening to Hempstead Harbor. Hempstead Harbor is a good place to tube, water ski, and fish as well. Great views of the Sound, Hempstead Harbor, and Sands Point area. Great views of sunset!
