They don't answer phones, they have a seemingly eastern european front desk worker who when you ask for anything gruffly tells you prices as if she worked in the welfare department. I've been calling them for an HOUR trying to find if their hours tomorrow, BUSY, for AN HOUR. Even when calling in the morning a guy answers and wants to know your NAME before he'll tell you hours open. Obviously Ochsner Fitness downtown neither cares nor wants business. Amazing. Are these guys kidding?.

I was expecting a lot more out of a gym with such a superb location. I tried out their free 2-week trial and realized that it wasn't for me. The staff is not friendly, nor helpful. They spend most of the time behind a desk and don't really offer any knowledge, support, and barely can bring themselves to smile. This gym is mostly filled with "bros" and it is very machine-oriented. The machines are all working but they are not very well maintained (there's a lot of squeaking and some of the padding is damanged). I liked that everything is essentially in one space, the music they play is decent, but it's hard to feel a sense of belonging when the people are so dry. Also, they are closed on Sundays, which is a critical day for me to work out.
