  All I can say is that an online merchant or big-box store can't provide you with service. If you buy a bicycle here, they will provide free lifetime tuneups. Most places will charge you upwards of $100 for each tuneup. If you want to plod along on a crappy Schwinn from Walmart, expect it to be resting on the curb or on craigslist within a year. If you want a quality bicycle, you go to a Local Bike Shop. BTW - I'm about to buy bike #3 from Oceanside Cycle and I've been satisfied with each purchase.
