  BUYER BEWARE! I was really hoping this place wasn't a scam; unfortunately I was wrong. When they say it's too good to be true, they're referring this shady business. Victoria took $1,800.00 of our hard earned money and then wanted more upon installation. Instead of coming out to the house before installation to ensure the fireplace is ready for the gas insert, Joseph demanded more money when the installers rescheduled. When we didn't give into his extortion, he refused to finish the job & still has my money.

  Joseph, the owner, is a terrible human being. From his lack of respect to his stubborn attitude, I was astonished by how demeaning he could be. Because his company didn't come to evaluate my fireplace ahead of time, the gas line was incorrectly placed. When I called to reschedule a time for delivery, he demanded more money. He has $1,800 of my money and is now refusing to install the gas insert I've waited over 2 weeks for. Never shopping here again. Beware of Victoria, the salesperson, too! She'll sweet talk you only to not even talk to you after you place your deposit.

  While the showroom is nice I can’t comment on their work. The do installments but the don’t keep the appointments the make to come to give an estimate. Cancelled on me twice and then advised the only will come during the work week during the which is when I work.....

  We have one of the electric fireplaces and they are wonderful. They were very professional and service was excellent. We have had the fireplace for 5 years and no problems. I highly recommend Ocean Stone and Fireplace for their quality products.
