  Food isn't the greatest in Chinatown but you'll have an amazing experience in the private rooms. New owner, so things are a bit yuppy. If you book a room, there is a $300 mininum per table. Hint* don't order the food packages, you're better off ordering a la carte and getting more food than the package and still room for more to spend. The waiters expect a 20% tip every single time, but for mediocre service. If the 20% isn't received, a dirty look is often accompanied after you leave

  Nice restaurant, under new management. Restaurant just decorated. The food was very fresh and it taste great.

  Unfortunately the restaurant before this that was opened for years and had great business was closed down recently and now Ocean Harmony took its place. The dishes were quite flavorful and service was pretty good. I feel Ocean Harmony couldn’t quite live up to its former self because it was lacking in everything, from the flavor to the decor to the service. It was a really disappointing dinner. All the dishes came out bland and unoriginal. The service was okay but staff could have been more attentive. The decor is exactly the same as the previous restaurant and barely anything changed. Also, the waitress provided false information about prices for special dishes and even overcharged us extra on our bill. She then blamed it on her manager saying she was just following her manager’s orders. I am appalled by this unprofessional behavior. She apologized profusely and said we are right and she’s wrong and said she will take anything off that we wanted to make things right. That is not how that works. I will gladly pay for what I ordered and tip accordingly for the service, not trying to take advantage of her mistake. That is not how you solve a customer’s problem. All this time the manager did not even bother to show up to our room and do anything. When we received our corrected bill, she even had the nerve to point out to us the tip percentage in the bottom of the bill, like it’s our first time eating out or making sure she gets tipped for her inadequate service. I was speechless. Although my first time experience was unfortunately dissatisfied, I will keep this in mind should I ever decide to come back again. I might give them another chance since mistakes do happen. Just remember to double check your bill and make sure nothing fishy is going on.
