  Most unfortunate. Did not set the right expectations for what I wanted and the photos I showed him. My hair was not nearly blonde enough, and when i contacted him a few days later seeing if it was possible to do a touch up, he expected me to continue to pay hourly. Got quite sassy over the phone as well. Every hairdresser I have seen in the past has been more than willing to provide a complimentary visit if I'm unhappy with the original result. It's a bummer because i thought I had found a stylist I really liked. Guess not :( He advertises that he charges a very reasonable fair for Portland, but i was able to find many different salons with excellent ratings for way better. So bummed.

  I’m the kind of person who doesn’t like to make decisions, especially about my physical appearance. That said, I have 100% trust in Blaine’s vision for how my hair will best frame my head and border my face. Blaine is a master at cutting and coloring, and an authentic, friendly, thoughtful, and considerate person. Oaza is a unique place and has a calm, meditative, open, atmosphere. There’s indoor bike parking in the building. Highly recommend.
