  I have been coming to this nail salon since it opened. I have been extremely satisfied! The gel mani lasts at least 2 weeks. There is always wine to drink ;) The conversation is always fun! 10/10 recommended! Great pricing too :)

  Am I the only person here whose nails didn’t come out that great? The other reviews here are misleading. I think a more honest assessment needs to be seen by people considering going here. Yeah, Malia is very nice, but I found her to be unprofessional and too relaxed when she should have been focusing on doing a more precise job on my nails. She is personable, friendly, etc., but that doesn’t speak to her actual talent. Not to be harsh, but it looks like a 12-year-old did arts and crafts on my fingers. I am disappointed with the outcome after reading all the rave reviews for Oakland Nails, which were the whole reason I drove 35 minutes out of my way just to go there. Based on how my nails came out, I wouldn’t call this a 5-star establishment.

  Malia is the best, hands down. There are times when I go in without an idea of what I want, and she knows just what I need (even if I don’t know it yet!) She’s reliable, personable, and does a fantastic job every time. I’m so glad my friend recommended me to her a little over a year ago. She is the best nail tech I’ve ever gone to. I’ll never go anywhere else as long as she’s in Pittsburgh. Stop in and let her glitter you up!!!!

  I have been going to Malia for about 3 years now and she is the best nail tech in Pittsburgh hands down! You know everybody says they do nails but can’t. Malia has the magic touch from sculpting to design she does everything with precession. She has a wonderful personality and does everything to your liking. She especially has great free styling skills for designs. Please support her business Oakland Nails!!
