::I was traveling from benbrook to Arlington and I hit a piece of tire on the road and my engine guard came off and it dragged on the road. I was really scared and I searched for a repair shop nearby. Luckily Oakland Auto repair was nearby so I turned on my blinkers and drove there slowly. The guy immediately got underneath and fixed it. And he didn’t even take any money. I appreciate his help so much.

::I take my car to Al for inspections and repairs. I have never felt he engaged in any of the practices that people hear about with car repairs. I recently had my annual inspection done there and the next time I went to fill up my car with gas, it would not fill properly and kept shutting off the pump. I took it to Al to have it checked and like other reviewers, he gave me a ride home and returned the car to me when it was done. He told me the problem was probably caused during the inspection and did not charge me anything for the work - even washed the car. I was very impressed by his integrity and don't think this would have happened at very many auto repair shops.

::I took my truck here w/o an appointment, they gave me a ride home, fixed my truck, picked me up and the cost was lower than other repair shops. Al is very friendly and so is his staff. I was very impressed with the quality of service.
