  this park is a hidden jewel in the Bronx. I don't know how long it gas been here, but I worked right across the street from it for 6 years and did not know it was there. when I stumbled across it I had to photograph it. I could not believe that this little park was hiding right under my nose. there is plenty of seating. it has a small jogging track, excersise and stretch area, full children's playground, sprinkler park,2 hop scotch boards. plenty of greens grass and lawn space. checkers and chess boards. the park is clean and quite. no smoking, no alcohol allowed. no barbecuing. once you enter the park you forget that you are in a bustling city environment and are instantly transported to a relaxing national park get away.
