  Why Nyack Fitness? Over the last month of my membership I asked myself how I can answer that question. However, each time I walked into the facility, I was quickly reminded why Nyack Fitness is the place to go to. Fitness, weight loss and overall well being is not just a physical aspect, like many other gyms I've been to focus on. There is a mind and body connection that needs to be met in order to reach the best outcomes and Nyack fitness does just that! From the moment you walk in, you will be greeted by every staff and every member of the gym. Everyone is kind and supportive. I think this is what I love most about the gym. As a young woman, I hated going to gyms with men who either judge you or hit on you from the second you walk by. At Nyack Fitness there is no pressure! Everyone is there for their own reason and only support you in the process. It truly is a family environment there. In addition, the bathrooms are GREAT! It's not your typical "gym bathroom". It's very clean and modern, with private door front bathrooms, large and private showers and lockers for your belongings. They provide you with hand and bath towels and even with lotions, sprays and shampoo for use (in case you forget your own). It is important to have a gym as your sanctuary; where you feel safe, comfortable and motivated. Nyack Fitness meets all those needs and more!

  This place is like a jungle gym/playground for adults. They have the most toys I have ever seen in a gym. Free weights, rings, Pilates, boxing gear, mats, kettle bells, medicine balls, weight vests, etc. It just goes on and on. From the first time I showed up, I looked around and I couldn't believe how many cool things they had to play with. I go back three times a week and I am settling into a routine but whenever I want to mix things up with my work out, I just go look around and try something new. The other thing I like is that this place is never crowded when I go. I work from home so I usually go in the mid afternoon and often I am the only one there. Maybe that's not great for the owners, but for me, it's like having a private gym. I am sure it's crowded in the early morning, but I don't like getting up early so I have full use of the space when I go. The membership rates are extremely reasonable and you can get out with just a 30 day notice. I really like that I can pay month to month. I have joined different gyms as I have moved around the country; Austin, Dallas, Los Angeles, London, etc. but this is the best place I have ever been a member of.

  I love the new place. The gym is exactly what I want now. It's 24/7 access helps me a ton with my schedule & there is much more equipment for me to use.

  Omg I luv this place!! It's beautiful, new, & the staff is so professional. From the cleanliness to the complimentary towel service, I've am genuinely impressed.

  Nyack Fitness looks incredible since they remodeled the place! It's a great new health club, and not just for those who are looking to take classes. They keep it super clean and its such a positive workout environment for those at any level. 5+ stars!!
