  Totally misleading signs posting their rates. Their sign says early bird special, in by 9 AM and out after 1 PM $13. I drove in at 7:15 AM and left at 10:45 AM - $20. You would think that my leaving early would open up a parking space for someone else to use, but they still charged me more because they can. I will not use this garage again. I parked there again since I knew I would be there for a while and wanted to test my theory on the $13 early bird special. I parked at 7:30 AM and was downtown until 11 AM. I decided to have lunch with my son and was going to check out at 1 PM like the sign says. We checked out of the garage at 1:02 PM and the charge was $13. If we had checked out at 12:50 PM, we would’ve been charged the standard rate ($20) from 7:30 to 12:50.

  My experience with Northstar Parking has been excellent! Reginald Sparkman is one of the night parking monitors and he is polite, helpful, hard working and I will go a couple of blocks out of my way just to park in this lot.   Older ramp with tighter corridors and turns. Price is average for down town on off hours.

  Sign outside at the entrance said $6 weekend rate. Parked on a Saturday for less than 24 hrs and was shocked at the exit when it said I owed $44. The cashier just said that they start a new day at 3am and pointed to rates that were posted at the exit. Signage was misleading if not outright lies. No way to know about the 3am changeover. I paid double what my friends paid in two other nearby ramps, and more than valet parking at the hotel I stayed at.
