::We were recommended to Northport Physical Therapy by our doctor at Hospital for Special Surgery. Our daughter had injuries related to soccer. She received one-on-one attention with direct supervision of exercises from Heather and staff. Her recovery was amazing. When she suffered another injury, we went back to NPT and received the same high level care but for a different problem with the same results. We have gone to other physical therapists prior but nowhere else did we receive this level of intensive, one-on-one care. I would highly recommend NPT for any of your physical therapy needs.

::I am beyond thankful for the staff at Northport Physical Therapy. I went to them months after sustaining a stress fracture (the second of two serious fractures in two years) because my cross country and track coach wanted to make sure that the muscles supporting my pelvis got stronger as means of injury prevention. Heather went above and beyond making sure that my hip was taken care of properly. She gave me exercises to strengthen my core and butt so that they would be better able to support my pelvis as I returned to running. More than that though, she gave me support and encouragement as I went through the process of getting back into shape. When I had other little aches and pains in my shins, for example, she gave me additional exercises for that. On another occasion, she watched my gait as I ran to make sure that I hadn't developed poor form in the time that I had taken off of running. Maybe her best advice at all was having me slow down in my training and restructure my plan when things weren't feeling right. After the 2 months that I spent at Northport Physical Therapy, I felt stronger than I had in my entire life despite the fact that I had not exercised in the 4 months prior. That feeling allowed me to go back to school and run with my team with a new sense of confidence and hope that I would soon be able to race again after a long two year break.
