  nice staff with homemade tortillas. I got a torta and a strawberry freesia. the torta reminded me of Calle revolucion in tijuana. authentic as can be. got to practice my Spanish. the freesia was delicious. came to this market during covid lockdown. they had everything while other markets were sold out. I guess the vendors in Mexico were still producing while China was shut down.

  Such a nice cart pusher named Alex, I was having such a rough day (my meemaw died) and he listened to me and even gave me some advice about grieving. I’m from Louisiana and only shopped at small businesses so I was nervous about shopping at a chain, definitely felt friendly and like family. Will most definitely return and that nice man needs a raise !

  Dislike that they only have one door for entrance/closed. Is so inconvenient plus annoying to go all through one door. I wonder if is okay with US Marshalls to have one door closed during business hour? 🤔 kind of feeling like making a complaint with the US Marshalls.

  Definitely a good place to get what you need to make a dinner or lunch always come in here for last minute ideas, but in a pinch this place also sells food ready to go. Hot food real good to be honest the flavor was better a few years ago but has changed not terrible just not as good. But and this is very important of all the local North Gates this is the one with the best taste and the best bread in my opinion. They have a cornbread that's like a pie this place has the best tasting one ever. The staff is really good at helping people and sometimes the coke will offer you a recipe if he is in the mood or has time. The produce I can't even tell you how good it is it's very fresh never disappointing I come here many times a month just to pick up little odds and ends to make a delicious meal for the family.

  I Am very disappointed about the quality of My shrimps. I am a regular customer at Northgate but the quality of shrimp has gone down by the day.
