  county dental is wonderful. Great technicians and dentists. Very accommodating, no long wait and everyone there is extremely nice. Would recommend to anyone. I’m very happy I found them.

  I quite literally dread going to the dentist, and not because of traditional reasons, because I despise this place. I had a great hygienist for years here. Do I like the politics? Them pushing unneeded services on you, overcharging, lack of customer service? No, not at all (but my hygienist was so good that I was able to overlook the aforementioned gripes) However, I went here solely because my hygienist was the best! Well, came in for an appointment, and she’s gone. I don’t know if I will stay because I don’t really feel that they value their clients at all, it’s really annoying to walk in for an appointment and to be charged right on the spot, then to be escorted by employees to make sure you pay more before you leave. This place is not my cup of tea, but it’s local and it takes most insurances, soooooo, there’s that. But if you’re looking for quality of service and care, look elsewhere.

  I had an 8:30 appointment. Wasn’t seen until after 9:10. The hygienist told me she was unaware of my appointment. Poor communication between the receptionist and the hygienist. Everything else was wonderful. No complaints.

  A couple of years ago I found County Dental because I wanted to find a reputable and professional dentist office, which was also a UFT participant. Although cost of dental services are more than I thought, I found the workmanship and materials are worth it. My sons and I have costly dentist bills but I feel they do their best to get much covered. Both Dr. Christos and Dr. Rakowiski have treated us well. Our experiences are good. They have been accommodating and pleasant. So far, we are happy there. The office is spacious, clean and the technicians are friendly. Overall, I would recommend Northern County Dental in Yorktown.

  Had to change dentists after 30 years because my dentist/periodontist retired. This office is clean and staff very friendly. Would recommend for basic cleaning. Experience with extractions for both myself and husband was awful. Was not happy with my periodontal consultation. Seems like the main focus was pushing $19,340 worth of future treatment - even with insurance, nothing was covered. Sad to say that massive offices with numerous dentists, assistants and specialists is the new norm. Buying my Jeep was a better experience.
