::Right before going I joked that I still hadn’t found a decent Chinese restaurant in the area - I’m happy to say that’s no longer the case. I’ve been back several times since and every dish I’ve had is very high quality and so delicious. Considering the quality, the prices are surprisingly reasonable!

::I was really surprised by this place. Looks not that impressive from outside but the inside was nice and the people were really nice. But the Cherry on top was that the food was really good and fairly priced! Five mother flipping stars!!

::(10/21/17) Saturday night after photographing a concert I decided to stop by Northern Cafe on Fig. for a late night dinner around 11:15pm. I parked in the rear parking lot and came in through the back entrance. I walked to the counter to order food and as soon as the girl working the counter saw me looked me up and down examining my tattoos and said "Sorry we're closed!". I looked around the restaurant shocked because people were clearly eating, the front doors were wide open, and a neon sign read OPEN. I said to her "You're closed?", she said "Yes, sorry we are closing now". I took another look around and was confused because the restaurant was CLEARLY OPEN for business. She said to me again "Sorry, we are closing. I'm so sorry". I turned around and left the restaurant feeling disgusted and judged. I didn't argue with her or ask to see the manager because I've dealt with discrimination in the past and felt there's no point to argue with people with that type of mentality. **Take a look at the hours of operation** Saturday - 11AM - 12AM
