My first experience with Northeast Motorsports was a pleasant one. I went in to have the CDV removed on my E53 BMW X5. I was recommended by a friend and found really good reviews online. Upon removing the CDV the line cracked and the car had to stay overnight because the line had to be shipped overnight. Which is understandable even though i didn't like spending $65 on an Uber ride home. The visit seemed very professional and I felt confident with their expertise. My second visit Unfortunately made me realize we can't always believe what we are told... So i went back in to have my AC checked out. Last year my AC was getting lazy, once I'm driving it would blow cold and when stopped or in traffic it would die down or just stop blowing cold. This yr it stopped working completely. I spent approx two and a half hours for Northeast Motorsports to diagnose the problem. I was told that it looks like its the Climate Control Module that's the problem. That when they "bypassed" the climate control module the AC blew very cold with no problem but i would need to drop of the car for an entire day to completely check the entire Ac system for any other bugs. Ohh not forgetting, to replace the Climate Control Module is a $1000 job... With that being said i went home and did some more research because jumping out $1000 these days isn't easy. Being I'm a plumbing mechanic and I've been around cars since I was 15 yrs old, I decided to swap out the module myself with a used one after seeing how easy it was to do after watching several videos online. The used module was $350 which would have saved me a bunch. That's when i found out their diagnosis was bullshit. After putting in the used climate control module the results were the same... still no AC. So back to the professionals... After some more research and a recommendation I ended up at Motorceps in Queens NY. These guys were great. After about one and a half hours they found that the AUX fan was not working and the system needed to be fully charged. Motorceps replaced the AUX fan with a genuine BMW AUX fan, pressure tested the AC system which held without any leaks and recharged the system. Job well done without guessing for under $1000. Which had nothing to do with the Climate Control Module. And I was lucky enough to get my car back at the end of the same day. I am a happy Motorceps customer....

Took my E36 there about a year ago. They seemed annoyed by my business as soon as I walked through the door and gave very short/curt answers. I asked them to diagnose my check engine light. They said it was a camshaft position sensor. Well after dropping and picking my car up 4 times and over $1,000 into it, the check engine code P0455 never went away. I wouldn't have minded as much if they were polite and took the time to explain things but that never happened. There was also dirt/oil on the seats when my car was returned. It's possible that my experience was an isolated incident because Northeast Motor Sports is highly recommended by a lot of people, including on the forums. I wish Eurotech in Mahwah worked on E36 M3's but when I called them, they tried to pass me onto North East Motorsports. EDIT: In response to your response. 1. I don't use my real name on the internet. It was an Estoril Blue 99 M3 Convertible if that helps you remember. 2. I specifically said in my review that my experience could have been an isolated incident. You are highly recommended on both Bimmerforums and from Eurotech (who I consider to be the best shop in northern NJ). I added that clause because I know one bad review can hurt a business and that is NOT my goal.
